SHREVEPORT SCENE!
The 15,000-square-foot former CVS drugstore at the corner of Youree Drive and 70th Street is being demolished to make room for a new, larger, Chick-fil-A restaurant. On the new larger lot, a 5,924-square-foot Chick-fil-A will be built to take the place of their current 4,050-square-foot building. The current location will remain open to dish out chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, lemonade and other menu items during construction.

I’m a Louisiana native, and I love every opportunity to represent the area I call home. I grew up around the Shreveport-Bossier area, and I graduated from Caddo Magnet High. Growing up, I consistently attended the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show. I had a love for aviation, and after my first flight in middle school, I became hooked. Even at a young age, I knew I wanted to attend the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and become an officer in the Air Force. I diligently worked towards this goal in both academics and extracurriculars throughout middle and high school.
