On October 8, deputies from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Patrol investigated a case of sexual abuse against a juvenile in Caddo Parish. They contacted the Special Victims Unit, which conducted an interview with the suspect, 45-yearold Darrell W. Cotton. Following further investigation, Cotton was arrested on one count of third-degree rape.

A convicted felon who led Shreveport Police on a dangerous pursuit Sunday night is now behind bars, authorities said.
