Part 2: Shreveport water line break woos

Part 2: Shreveport water line break woos

More than a week since the Presidents’ Day freeze, and not all of us in Shreveport have water. As of this writing, west Shreveport still has significant water outages, and there are many with water line breaks on private property. You Don’t Miss Your Water Until the Well Runs Dry, or the Water Main Breaks

It would be funny if it weren’t so sad to see how my wife and I acted when we heard the air first and then the intermittent gushes of water bursting through our faucets. Celebrate Women’s History Month this March with SML

Since 1987, March has been observed as Women’s History Month celebrating the contributions of women to history, society and culture. In 2020, the month celebrated “Valiant Women of the Vote” in honor of the centennial anniversary of the Women’s Suffrage Movement. As much of the celebration was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Women’s History Alliance extended that theme into 2021. Shreve Memorial Library will join others across the country in celebrating “Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to be Silenced” with virtual programs and an interactive, traveling exhibit.
