Armed Convicted Felon Captured After Vehicle Pursuit and K-9 Foot Chase

A convicted felon is facing multiple charges after leading Shreveport police on a vehicle pursuit and foot chase before being captured with the assistance of a K-9 unit. According to the Shreveport Police Department, officers attempted to stop a vehicle shortly after midnight on June 2 near the intersection of Pierremont Road and Line Avenue. The driver allegedly refused to stop and fled from officers, leading them on a pursuit before eventually abandoning the vehicle and running on foot.
