Of the twenty-five items on your wish list for the City of Shreveport in 2025, this reader noticed that there was no mention of the 9000 opportunities known as adjudicated properties. The good intentions of State Representative Roy Burell in 2015 to get HB 769 passed was only the start of a comprehensive plan to redevelop areas of the city that has been overlooked according to the vision outlined in the 2030 Master Plan and for the most part, not included in the few bond proposals that have been successful since 2015.
