Shreveport Police detectives have arrested Tamira Caldwell (DOB: 8/6/1976) in connection with multiple thefts from a local Lowe’s store. Caldwell, who was taken into custody on April 21, 2025, is a habitual retail theft offender with a lengthy criminal history.

The Shreveport Police Department is actively searching for two women wanted in connection with a disturbing case of financial exploitation involving an elderly stroke victim. Following a thorough investigation, detectives have obtained warrants for Brittany Lopez and Jennifer Hutson for access device fraud after they were found to have stolen money from an elderly woman who was incapacitated due to a severe stroke. Relatives of the victim contacted SPD after noticing suspicious withdrawals from the woman’s bank accounts while she was in a nursing home recovering from her stroke. Detectives launched an investigation and were able to determine that Lopez and Hutson were responsible for accessing the victim’s finances without authorization. Investigators discovered that both women had been neighbors to the victim prior to her medical emergency.
