The Shreveport Police Department shared a post on social media Tuesday (April 29) requesting the public’s assistance identifying a woman who dropped off a child at a Shreveport home and left.
Over the course of the weekend, the Shreveport Police Department’s DWI Unit continued its recordsetting pace, arresting 11 individuals for DWI and DWI-related offenses.

Shreveport Police detectives have arrested Tamira Caldwell (DOB: 8/6/1976) in connection with multiple thefts from a local Lowe’s store. Caldwell, who was taken into custody on April 21, 2025, is a habitual retail theft offender with a lengthy criminal history.
According to Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr, three men, two from Bossier Parish and one from Caddo Parish, have been arrested for stealing and selling thousands of dollars worth of copper wire from AT&T job sites.
A man, who was accused of threatening Family Dollar employees and assaulting Shreveport police officers, was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
