Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit have arrested Mahogany Washington in connection with an incident that occurred in May of 2025.

On July 6, just after 10:00 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of an armed individual in the 8600 block of Dowdell Street. The call quickly escalated into a tense and dangerous situation.
