Audit Report Raises Questions About Sales Tax Collection Agreement Between Bossier City and Bossier Parish Schools
A recent audit report has identified discrepancies in the way Bossier City has allocated sales tax collection costs to the Bossier Parish School Board (BPSB), estimating that the school board was overcharged approximately $153,600 annually over a ten-year period. While the audit findings suggest the overcharges may total nearly $1.54 million, both parties are currently working toward a resolution.
