I find myself rooting for Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell. Spend some time watching him talk to or about his players and you’ll know why. With that said, his team, full of young talent, didn’t really put up much of a showing this past weekend versus the Cowboys in Dak Prescott’s return to the field.
Unless you’re a fan of either of the two teams in the Series, this one may be tough to swallow. The Astros, fresh off their sweep of my New York Yankees, are playing in their fourth World Series in the past six years and looking for their title. On the other side of the diamond are the Philadelphia Phillies, a team that disposed of the San Diego Padres about as easily as the Astros did to the Yankees. These two teams are loaded with talent with some giving the edge to the Phillies on offense while Houston has the clear advantage on the mound with their pitching.

While that title may seem to interpret that all is lost in regards to the Saints’ season, the opposite is actually the truth. The Saints, woeful of late, sitting at 2-5 are still somehow in the playoff hunt in the NFC. That is thanks in part to the dumpster fire that is the current state of the NFC South. The Bucs and Flacons are tied atop the division at 3-4, only one game ahead of the Saints and Panthers. That’s bad.
