
Disorderly Conduct Call Leads to Arrest and Drug Charges

On July 12th, 63-year-old Debbie Jones was brutally stabbed and killed—allegedly by her own son. This horrific act of domestic violence is yet another painful reminder of the silent war happening behind closed doors in our community.

According to Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr., a man from Caddo Parish has been arrested for stealing AT&T wire from power poles.

Reports of a suspected vehicle ended in a vehicle pursuit with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office and an arrest.

Each of the six of the NW LA sales taxing jurisdictions saw a rise in their June receipts compared to 2024, especially the 3 Bossier Parish bodies.

On July 13, 2025, at approximately 9:36 a.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Hollywood Avenue in reference to a reported stabbing.

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of a possible kidnapping involving a juvenile at a residence located in the 8900 block of Blom Boulevard.




Domestic violence continues to run rampant throughout our community. Unfortunately, this is a crime that often begins behind closed doors, making it one of the most difficult for law enforcement to prevent. In most cases, officers are left responding after violence has already occurred, with limited ability to intervene beforehand.
On July 11, 2025, Shreveport Police Department detectives were contacted by Louisiana Probation and Parole officers who were conducting a follow-up on an individual.
