A private company is gearing up to begin running Fair Park Middle School in Shreveport. The company is in the process of hiring teachers to have in place by the time the first bell rings in August. The management team of Third Future is now taking applications for all positions. Some of the teaching positions are paying as much as $80,000 a year.

Bossier Cypress Lake will be a prime location for watching the 2024 Freedom Fest Finale fireworks. It's one of six locations where the amazing fireworks will be on display the night of July 4 and simulcast on KTBS 3. Other fireworks locations are across from Sci-Port in downtown Shreveport, The American Rose Center, South Bossier Park, Jefferson, Tx, and Longview, Tx.

Beginning August 6, Bossier City will offer customers online, autopay, and over the phone payment options for Bossier City water bills through Tyler Payments. Each customer will need to re-register their online account, re-enter stored payment information, re-enroll for paperless billing and re-enroll for autopay.

Manifest is a Shreveport-Bossier artist collective built on the principles of fellowship and fostering creative growth. Manifest will be performing at Artspace in Shreveport Tuesday nights from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Each performance will lead with a rotating improv ensemble followed by artist showcases.
