Bossier jury convicts man of child rape, indecent behavior

A Shreveport K-9 officer is credited with sniffing out a burglar who reportedly broken into a home early Monday morning.

The detectives from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Joeseph S. Robinson (DOB - 09/17/1979) from Deberry, TX. He was taken into custody after firing multiple rounds into the air in the parking lot of the Outlaw Bar located in the 11600 block of US Hwy 80 in Greenwood, LA.

On July 11, Shreveport Police patrol officers made a significant arrest in connection with an arson and shooting incident that occurred on April 18 in the 9300 block of Mansfield Road.

On July 13, Shreveport Police attempted a traffic stop in the area of Tate Street and Jewella Avenue.

Shreveport police arrested a man who attempted to shoot another person on the evening of July 3 in the 3600 block of Greenbriar Drive.

On July 15, just before 10:30 p.m., officers were called to a shooting in the 4900 block of Werner Avenue.

On July 11, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Shreveport Police were dispatched to the 7800 block of Pines Road in response to a domestic incident involving a shooting.

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 21-year-old Rafeal Edwards on one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Edwards is accused of the sexual assault of a 14-year-old in 2022.

On July 15 at 12:27 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to the 400 block of Forest Avenue in reference to a man bleeding from the head. While en route, officers were advised that the suspect was armed with a baseball bat.
