A Shreveport man remains in jail following his arrest Sunday, Sept.22 for allegedly slashing a woman's throat and leaving her with a life-threatening injury.

A Shreveport man remains in jail following his arrest Sunday, Sept.22 for allegedly slashing a woman's throat and leaving her with a life-threatening injury.

On Sept.14, at approximately 5:08 a.m., Shreveport Police were dispatched to a casino located on the 400 block of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway in response to an indecent exposure incident.

On Sept.14, at approximately 1:57 a.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to 1848 Anna St. in response to a report of an armed person.

On the night of Sept.8, around 11 p.m., Shreveport Police Patrol officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Jewella Street and Cleveland Street. The driver of the vehicle refused to comply, prompting officers to pursue the vehicle as it fled through the Mooretown neighborhood.

On Saturday, July 6, at approximately 3 a.m., Shreveport Police were dispatched to the 6100 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop at the River Oaks Apartments in response to a call reporting domestic trouble. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a female had been involved in a domestic dispute with 18-year-old Jacob Sevin.


Shreveport Police Department’s Property Crimes detectives have made significant progress in their investigation of a string of residential burglaries in the South Highland neighborhood.
