A man wanted for multiple juvenile sex crime offenses has been apprehended out of state following a thorough investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.

On Dec.14, around 7:50 p.m., Shreveport Police Department officers conducted an operation targeting individuals attempting to solicit juveniles.

On Dec.13, at approximately 10:15 p.m., a Shreveport Police officer was conducting speed enforcement on Mansfield Road between Valley View Drive and Kingston Road. The officer observed a vehicle traveling north at 63 mph in a posted 45 mph zone.






On Dec.16, at approximately 9 p.m., members of the Shreveport Police Department’s K-9 Unit conducted a suspicious vehicle stop in the 600 block of Argyle Street.

On Dec.9, at approximately 6 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of a stalking incident in the 3800 block of Pond Road.

On Dec.9, at approximately 8:09 a.m., Shreveport Police officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of W. 70th Street and Quilen Road. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Joseph Hicks, refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit into Bossier City.

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a registered sex offender following an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor.

On Dec.8, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to reports of a fight at the Round Bar, located at 3044 Youree Drive. The complainant reported that an armed male subject was involved in the altercation.
