Mitch Downey will take the Oath of Office and be officially sworn in as Superintendent of Bossier Schools at the April 18 Bossier Parish School Board meeting. After being administered the oath, Mr. Downey will be the leader of the fastest growing public school district in northwest Louisiana, with more than 3,000 employees and close to 23,000 students.
