The Bonsai Society will hold it’s annual show
Saturday, May 11th starting at 10:00am to 3:30pm
at the Bossier Arts Council
located at 630 Barksdale Blvd. in Bossier City.
On display will be member’s bonsai
trees, many of which were collected here in the ARK-LA-TEX.
Among those being shown will be Bald Cypress, Maples, elms, junipers and a wide variety of others.
Two demonstrations will be conducted during the show.
- 10:00 Charles Canfield (with the help of a friendly Beaver)
will create a Bald Cypress bonsai.
- 1:00 Pat McLain will style an old Juniper into a new bonsai.
There will be a raffle of trees and bonsai material held that afternoon.
The show is open to the public at no charge.
