Stonewall Man Arrested After Two-Parish Chase

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 3:26 PM, Caddo Patrol Deputies were informed that the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office was pursuing a red motorcycle traveling northbound on Mansfield Road. The bike was soon spotted by Sgt. Pierce, Dep. Normand, and Cpl. Childress, who then joined the chase. After the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) became involved, the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office (DPSO) discontinued their pursuit. The CPSO deputies continued the chase until the motorcycle came to a stop at the intersection of Southern Avenue and East 78th Street.

Man Sentenced a Decade for Years of Abusing Teen

Violence Takes Many Forms: Two Arrested in Separate Assault Incidents

Violence in our community can manifest in unexpected ways. Shreveport Police have recently arrested two men in separate incidents involving assaults with unconventional weapons. December 31, 2024 – Irving Place At approximately 3:25 PM, officers responded to a report of assault and battery in the 1700 block of Irving Place. During the investigation, it was determined that James Youngblood assaulted a female victim at the location. Witnesses reported that the victim was outside a business smoking a cigarette when Youngblood approached her, took the cigarette from her hand, and struck her with a shovel.
