Citizens must hold their ‘strange bedfellows’ accountable

How many believed that age-old adage, “Politics has its strange bedfellows”? Do you believe such strange bedfellows exist today? Now, I guess it would be appropriate to define “strange bedfellows.” Google defines “strange bedfellows” as a peculiar alliance or combination of people sharing the same job but having very different views of the same job.

The Wisdom of Geese

Have you ever heard the saying “Don’t be a silly goose?” I remember hearing that a time or two growing up; it was a cute way of saying “you’re being foolish, you need to consider changing your behavior.” If you know anything about geese, however, you might realize they are anything but “silly,” and they know how to get the job done efficiently and compassionately. Perhaps we could all benefit from being a little more “goose-like” these days.

As a rule I do not eat at fast-food establishments. Mainly because I worked at one in high school, and I have mixed feelings about anyone eating anything I made when I was a teenager. Also because, as an adult, I have met many teenagers, and there have been some who appear to have an aversion to cleanliness, and, well, anyway, I seldom eat fast food.
