Man killed in Thursday morning shooting
A Shreveport man has died following an early Thursday morning shooting.
At about 3:23 a.m. Feb. 11, Shreveport police responded to the 2600 block of Merwin Street relative to a shooting.
Officers located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot injuries to the upper body. The victim was immediately transported to Ochsner LSU Health, where he later died from life-threatening injuries.
Violent crimes and crime scene investigators responded to this location and began their investigation. Witnesses were interviewed and evidence was collected.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Treyshun J. Bogan.
At this time there is no additional information. This is an ongoing investigation.
