Man arrested on sexual battery charges

Back on April 16, 2019, Shreveport Police Sex Crimes investigators were called to investigate two separate sexual battery reports, each occurring at  locations in  west Shreveport.  During the investigation, each victim disclosed circumstances indicating a male subject accosted  them, touching each victim on their buttocks without their consent and running off.   Detectives were able to locate information and evidence that led them to developing Terrance Winn, 23, of the 600 block of Atkins Lane in Frierson, La, as a suspect in the crimes.

On May 14, 2019, Terrance Winn was booked into the Desoto Parish Jail on unrelated charges and currently awaits extradition. Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes unit are exploring the possibility that additional victims of Winn’s alleged crimes may exist and are therefore encouraging those persons who may have been victimized to contact Shreveport Police investigators at: (318) 673-6955.
