Representation without representation — that is what a lot of the citizens of Shreveport and other surrounding communities are currently dealing with. Fourth District Congressman Mike Johnson, who won his re-election by a comfortable margin, has not represented all his constituents well. He has been carrying the water for the Republican leadership in Congress; specifically, Kevin McCarthy, who was the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Mitch McConnell, who is the Majority Leader in the Senate. He has turned a blind eye to the behavior and lies of this president, and has voted against policies that would have helped the most vulnerable of citizens in his district.

Bets are usually better than dares and challenges because at the end of a completed bet, you win something. Most of the time it is all in good fun between friends, pals and co-workers, and they usually do not make the news or get you in serious trouble.
