Well, at least that is what I’ve discovered. Not from me personally. Let’s just say I am far from wild and reckless, but some characters who have traveled there carry a lot of secrets.

So you say …

How many of us have gone traveling in the United States and get asked “Where are you from?” I do not believe that I have ever asked anyone here where they are from. There are a fairly large number of travelers through our area along with the folks coming in at Barksdale. I expect we have a wide variety of U.S. citizens in our towns. If there is an accent, I just do not hear it.

For whatever it’s worth, there are differences in the way individuals perceive things, particularly certain concepts. Many times, we become so accustomed to using certain terminology and statements until we don’t even “listen” to what we are saying. Two such examples for me are the following:
