The City of Shreveport is currently owed $3,861,023.80 in unpaid water bills. The unpaid total is not necessarily a reflection of recent COVID impacts, as $2,332,039 in debt is over six months old! Of this total, Pratt Paper Industries, which recently shut down it’s recycling program for the city, owes a whooping $2,635,415.95! The Veterans Administration Center is the next in highest amount due over a six-month period, at $160,929.
Shreveport, LA – Cuban Liquor, the locally owned retailer of fine spirits and gourmet foods, has announced new ownership. Ron Lepow, whose grandparents founded the company in 1934, has sold the business to local restaurateurs Andrew Crawford and Grant Nuckolls.
