1. Tell us about your family growing up: I was born and raised in Shreveport, and grew up in the Southern Hills neighborhood.
On May 5, shortly before 7 AM, Caddo Sheriff Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of Mustang Circle in Keithville due to concerns for a resident's welfare. Upon arrival, the suspect refused to communicate with the deputies. A few minutes later, the deputies heard a gunshot coming from inside the residence.
Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. swore in seven new deputies for the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office on May 5.
On Thursday, April 24, more than 80 leaders from across Caddo Parish traveled together to Baton Rouge to engage directly with cabinet departments and members of the legislature on behalf of the citizens of Caddo Parish.
