SHREVE MEMORIAL LIBRARY SEEKS INPUT ON STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS

Shreve Memorial Library is looking to the future and making plans to develop a new five-year strategic plan, as the library’s current strategic plan ends this year. In January 2017, Shreve Memorial Library began a strategic planning process to define the library’s vision, identify community needs and develop a strategic plan to focus on five key service priorities. Based on feedback from stakeholders, staff and the general public, the library’s Strategic Plan focused on creating and maintaining young readers, providing lifelong learning and information fluency, stimulating imagination, providing ready references and informing citizens. Now, as the library looks to the future and begins a new strategic planning session, Shreve Memorial Library is once again asking the public for input on which areas they feel are most important for library services.
