Saline woman identified as victim in ART Parkway fatality

The driver involved in a fatal crash Saturday, in Bossier City has been identified as a 73-year-old woman from Bienville Parish. 

On February 29, at approximately 1:24 PM, the Bossier City Police responded to a fatality crash that occurred in the northbound lane of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway (ART Pkwy) at the intersection of Shady Grove Drive. 

According to police, Vehicle #1, a red passenger car, identified as 73-year-old Peggy Wise of Saline, was crossing the northbound lane of ART Pkwy from Shady Grove Dr. to go south on ART Pkwy when it was struck by vehicle #2, a black minivan that was traveling north on ART pkwy.

Wise was transported to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, where she was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.. 

Bossier City Police Accident Investigation team responded to investigate the crash.
