The third individual believed involved in this incident was taken into custody earlier today. 17-year-old James Perot of the 3800 block of Oakcrest Street was charged with Accessory to Attempted First Degree Murder in connection to this incident.

On February 22, 2020, just after 10:30 p.m., Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers received a tip that the 2011 Dodge Charger was at an apartment complex in Greenwood, Louisiana. Greenwood Police immediately responded to that location and were able to locate the vehicle. Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Detectives responded and took custody of the car. SPD is very grateful for the Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers program and Greenwood Police Department for their help.

Anthony Perot, who investigators believe was the gunman in the incident, remains at large. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. On Friday, February 21, 2020, just before 3:15 p.m., Shreveport Police Investigators were attempting to execute a search warrant at a residence in the 3700 block of Sumner Street. While arriving, subjects in a 2011 Dodge Charger drove up to the location and began shooting at officers. The vehicle, which was occupied by at least three black males, fled and evaded capture. The car was last seen headed north on Carrie Street.

The black Dodge Charger was taken during an armed robbery back on February 13, 2020. The vehicle has stock silver rims and had a handicapped placard hanging on the rearview mirror. At last sight, it had no rear bumper or license plate.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit launched an investigation and were able to procure a warrant for 21-year-old DeAndrew Mosley charging him with two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder. No bond was set.

On February 22, 2020, just before 6:30 p.m., Mosley was taken into custody at a home in the 1500 block of Summers Street. He was taken to the Shreveport Police Complex for questioning and then booked into the Shreveport City Jail. We would like to thank our partners at the US Marshals Office, Bossier City Police Department, and Shreveport Fire Department for their assistance in apprehending Mosely.

Investigators also procured warrants charging 25-year-old Anthony Perot of the 3700 block of Sumner Street with 5 counts of Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm and one count of Possession of a Firearm with CDS in connection with the incident. Perot is still at large.

Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers is still offering a $2,000 dollar reward for Perot and the other individual connected to this incident as well as a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the recovery of the 2011 black Dodge Charger used in the attack. Those with information are asked to contact Shreveport police at 318-673-7373, lockemup.org, or via their app, P3Tips. Remember, Crimes Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.
