On Feb. 15, at approximately 3:23 p.m. proactive patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Kings Highway. During the traffic stop investigation, it was discovered that 31-year-old Demaria Ford was in possession of narcotics and a firearm.

It took a host of law enforcement agencies and many hours, but a couple from Alexandria was finally taken into custody Thursday following a multi-parish high speed chase and escape attempt. Tyshaela Tashon Davison, 24, and Deonte Dewain Potier, 26, both of Alexandria, were first booked into the DeSoto Detention Center and later taken to other parish jails, where charges are pending.

At approximately 3:17 a.m. on Feb. 18, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2600 block of Lyles Lane where the suspect was reportedly armed with a firearm. Following an initial investigation, 42-year-old Timothy Washington was arrested in connection with the incident.
Bossier Sheriff’s detectives arrested two Plain Dealing men for Armed Robbery after they robbed a business in the 500 block of La. Highway 3 early Friday morning. The two men entered the Outpost Travel Center Casino with what appeared to be long guns and demanded cash from the casino cashier and one casino patron. The duo then fled the casino on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
