
Shreveport Police Searching for Repeat Domestic Abuser
The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Shannon Gilliam, a man with a violent history of domestic abuse who is now wanted for yet another brutal attack.

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Shannon Gilliam, a man with a violent history of domestic abuse who is now wanted for yet another brutal attack.

On April 9, 2025, just after 6:00 p.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 6000 block of Tealwood Street in reference to a report of a juvenile being physically assaulted. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a seven-year-old child had been beaten with a piece of lumber by his father.


On April 13, 2025, just after 3:00 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a reported theft in progress in the 200 block of East 70th Street. Officers patrolling the area observed two white male suspects, later identified as Paul Dupuy IV and Adam Anglin, actively cutting copper wiring from a utility pole in a nearby alleyway. The suspects were dressed to resemble city workers and were operating in broad daylight in a beat-up vehicle.


On April 2, officers with the Shreveport Police Department’s Youth Services Bureau were contacted by SPD Patrol officers after responding to a call at the Royal Inn, located at 1906 N. Market Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 15-year-old female who had reportedly been left alone and unsupervised in a hotel room for approximately two weeks.

In February 2025, detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit launched an investigation into an incident that occurred in the 1100 block of Running Brook Drive. During the investigation, the victim reported being sexually assaulted and informed detectives that explicit images of her were being shared on various social media platforms without her consent.






From March 24 through March 30, 2025, the Shreveport Police Department’s Vice Unit, in collaboration with Safe from Online Sex Abuse (SOSA), conducted an operation targeting online predators seeking to exploit underage victims.


The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit is actively investigating two separate cases and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two wanted individuals.

Shreveport Police Sex Crimes detectives have arrested Zachary Tatum (11/03/1999) on one count of Second-Degree Rape in connection with an incident that occurred in January 2025.

On April 6, 2025, just after 3:00 p.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Topeka Street in reference to a reported sexual assault.


The Shreveport Police Department has arrested two women in separate child abuse/neglect cases.
