On February 24, 2025, Shreveport Police Department Sex Crimes detectives were notified by SPD patrol officers of a reported sexual assault. Upon arrival, detectives made contact with the victim, who stated that he wished to pursue charges against the suspect for distributing explicit images and videos without his consent.

Shreveport Police have arrested Kylen Ardoin in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the 9100 block of Lynwood Avenue on February 24, 2025.
