A Haughton man was arrested and booked into Bossier Parish Maximum Security Prison Monday, accused of 18 felony counts of sex crimes involving juveniles.

Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Benton woman early Tuesday morning on multiple counts of aggravated cruelty to animals in her care.

Henry A. Wright, 42, of Shreveport, has been sentenced by United States District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote to 48 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release, for distribution of methamphetamine, Acting United States Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook announced.

Thomas Shane Benefield, 46, of Bossier City, and 24-year-old Antravion D. Johnson, 24, of Shreveport, have each been sentenced in unrelated cases by Chief United States District Judge S. Maurice Hicks Jr., announced Acting United States Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook.
