On June 15, around 12:30 p.m. an unidentified suspect contacted a victim via telephone, saying that they had a warrant, and it would cost $10,500 to clear it.

State Fire Marshal (SFM) deputies are continuing their investigation into a north Louisiana mobile home fire that claimed the life of a mobility-challenged man.

A Fourth of July celebration in the MLK area ended tragically with a mass shooting. Shortly before midnight during a large house party near Pearl Street and Jones Mabry Road, shots rang out, causing a panic. Ten people were taken to the hospital with injuries, with three pronounced dead. One of the injured victims was listed in very serious condition. A fourth victim died in the early morning hours of July 5.

Caddo patrol deputies arrested a 25-yearold Keithville woman for stabbing her 75-year-old grandmother, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

On June 26, a victim noticed her wallet was missing from her purse. The victim does not know if her wallet was stolen or if it was dropped somewhere. The victim's credit card was used at Johnny’s Pizza House at 2016 Airline Drive. The suspect purchased food using the mobile app. The suspect then came to the store to pick up the food. The suspect is a white male with shoulder-length, light-brown hair and tattoos on his right arm and left hand.

A Shreveport man accused of pornography involving juveniles and molestation of a juvenile under age 13 pleaded guilty last Friday, June 30, in Caddo District Court.

A Caddo Parish jury unanimously found a local man guilty as charged Thursday, June 29, of drugging and raping a woman he met shopping at a local mall.
