LACK OF CIVILITY AT COUNCIL MEETINGS BECOMING A MAYORAL CONCERN

We call ’em as we see ’em at 30- Second Read. We’re calling this one a sacrilege.
You don’t need to have a circus visit Bossier City. There’s one permanently in residence at City Hall.
In 2019, Forbes Magazine looked at 1,990 cities across the United States. They ranked them by levels of income inequality. The top 10 consisted of seven cities across the South with Shreveport placing eighth overall and 17th in the acceleration of income inequality over the past decade.

There are a couple (at least) of significant days this month, first Daylight Savings Time begins next Sunday March 8. Be sure and adjust your timepiece accordingly. Second, spring begins at 1:50 Friday, March 20. Keep in mind, if you have a “Yankee laid-out calendar,” it will say spring begins at 11:50 pm EDT. We are in the Central Time Zone. I at one time thought it would be a good idea to just leave our clocks set on Standard Time; however, after changing my P.O. Box so that I could receive my mail about five miles closer to home, change messes up lots of “stuff.” Best we just change our clocks like we have been and be happy.
