GOVERNOR SHOULD EXTEND TELECONFERENCE ORDER FOR GOVERNMENTAL MEETINGS

I heard something earlier in the week

You ever found yourself in the middle of a “ah-ha” moment? I did today, Monday, May 4. That “ah-ha” moment came to be when submitting questions about items on the Caddo Parish Commission’s work session agenda. That “ah-ha” moment arrived first when inquiries were made not about the comments but the constituent. That’s right, it wasn’t the comments that were to be addressed at the Caddo Parish Commission work session but the constituent. Correct name spelling. Gender. Affiliation/association with media. Nevertheless, what blew my mind, this constituent, the writer of these words was Commissioner Burrell, who wrote, “She initially was a citizen.” What does that mean? Is their implication that “she” — me — is no longer a citizen because she — me — may have affiliation/association with the media? What gives?

Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday. Things will be different because a lot of folks can’t physically be with their moms because of the virus. Make sure you take the time, effort and planning to make this one “extra” special for your mom. It’s the little things that mean the most.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards issued an emergency proclamation on March 16 which included authorization of attendance at essential governmental meetings via teleconference or video conference.

A man allegedly shot and killed a Family Dollar security guard in Flint, Mich., 20 minutes after the guard insisted his mom wear a mask.

Yes, it’s true.
Chiefs can cook the food .. with or without a mask .

How to measure pandemic? My metrics are two and 32. And I’m lucky.
