In Loving Memory of Roberta Taylor

In loving memory of Roberta Taylor, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie, faithful church member, and friend.

Roberta Taylor went to her eternal home in glory on December 10, 2024 following an illness. She was a long-time member of the Avenue Baptist Church and the Trinity Baptist Church, both in Shreveport, where she was a member of the Sunday School Department and served in her early years on the Hospitality Committee and as a member of the Choir.

Mrs. Taylor was a dedicated employee of the state of Louisiana and the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, where she served as a Certified Nurses Assistant for nearly 30 years. Roberta Taylor was pre-deceased in death by her daughter, Deborah T. Sibley, and she is survived by her two other daughters, Essie Cooper and Jacqueline Taylor, along with two surviving sisters, Mary Mayfield and Helen Moody, her grand-children, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members. Roberta Taylor will continue to be remembered for her special love of, and dedication to, her family and friends, and for her steadfast faith in God and service to Him during all the years of her youth and for her entire adult life.
