Pine Hill Road to close for bridge replacement

Beginning Tuesday, April 21, the bridge located on Pine Hill Road that crosses McCain Creek in North Caddo will be closed to allow the Caddo Parish Department of Public Works to replace the structure.

The Public Works Department will be replacing the bridge and conducting associated road improvements to expand commercial use of the bridge. These improvements will ensure decades of durability, safety and access for motorists that utilize these bridges.

Construction is expected to be completed by July 4.  Citizens interested in monitoring the status of the project can watch its completion in real time by viewing the Parish’s ProjectCAM. ProjectCAM provides continuous, real-time video of the project in process, and can be viewed at the Parish’s website at caddo.org.

As the commencement of this project begins during the Louisiana Department of Transportation (LADOTD) Work Zone Awareness Week, all citizens are asked to be aware of road crews on parish roads.
