Cedar Grove fire victim named

The Caddo Parish Coroner's office has released the name of a man whose body was found in a house that burned late Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in the Cedar Grove neighborhood.
The body of Dave C. Jackson Sr., 61, was found in the residence in the 600 block of David Drive just after 6:30 p.m. Identification was through fingerprint comparison.
An autopsy was ordered through Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
The fire remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department, to which media should direct further inquiries.
