Time is running out to view the 'Voices and Votes: Democracy in America' exhibit at Shreve Memorial Library. The exhibitions showcase Centenary student work alongside work from professional artists, with two of the exhibitions being curated by Centenary students.
The Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners are proud to announce the 2022 recipients of NWLAMG community grants. NWLAMG awards grants to organizations and municipalities that support beautification and horticultural education within our community. Of particular interest are projects that make a difference in the community, that are sustainable, and involve collaboration among local organizations. The NWLA Master Gardeners awarded a total of $10,941. The winners of the community grant program: Faith and Fostering - $904 – Faith and Fostering serves homeless young adults who have experienced trauma and creates a safe, comfortable environment. We are providing funds for landscaping at one of the homes.
