The stars will be out as the Eastern Conference champions Boston Celtics face off against the Western Conference champions Dallas Mavericks for the NBA Championship.

That’s the question on the white board in the locker rooms across the WNBA. Each team has to make a game plan for her. I’ve compared her game to that of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. To succeed, she needs her shots to fall. Her game is centered around her shooting ability. Sure, she’s a terrific passer and facilitator for her teammates but people aren’t showing up in record numbers to see a few dimes from their new favorite player. They want to see her shoot. P For Caitlin Clark, the target on her back has never been bigger, coincidentally the viewership for the WNBA is at an all-time high. Nothing we’re witnessing is new in sports. The rookie is always tested, the veterans are always going to be out to make sure the rookie coming into their league expecting to achieve the same level of greatness they were able to achieve in college gets a reality check. Thats what we saw this past Saturday when Clark and her Indiana Fever were facing off against the Chicago Sky and former LSU star Angel Reese. In the game, Clark took a hard foul from veteran Chennedy Carter and threw a shoulder into an unsuspecting Clark, knocking her to the ground. It was a hard foul by a player known for her toughness on and off the court.

The Shreve Memorial Library – Opened in 1923, the library at Edwards and Travis Streets was designed by local architect J.P. Annan to resemble an ancient Roman villa. In use as the central library until 1984, it is today home to the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, organized in 1910 to promote business in the Shreveport-Bossier City metropolitan area. A monument to the Caddo Parish soldiers and sailors of the Great War – World War 1 – was erected that year on the building’s grounds. The Marcus Building was built in 1902 and still stands at 711 Milam Street. When completed, this five-story building was the tallest privately owned structure in the city. This historic building is now downtown’s newest residential development – Uneeda Biscuit Lofts, 711 Milam Street. The property had been vacant for years. Now it’s transformed into a “creative cultural community.” For information on how to become a resident, visit: https://www.uneedalofts.com/ The Confederate Monument was unveiled in 1906. In 1917, a large electrically lit US flag was hung from the corner of the tower at the level of the large arched window on the third floor.

On Thursday, May 30, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson hopped on his Instagram page and posted a series of photos that showcased the luxurious interior of his G-Unit Films and Television studio. In Jackson's carousel IG post, which can be seen below, fans can view the building's lobby, which contains a grey half-carpet with the words 'G-Unit,' a vanity room with an impressive painting of the business mogul, a sheek business meeting room, two impressive offices and more.
