In response to the first Louisiana case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) announced in Jefferson Parish on Monday, Shreveport Transit Management sought to reassure the public and all SporTran riders that every precaution possible is being taken to limit the spread of the virus in its terminals, facilities, and vehicles.
On-site visitation for inmates at Caddo Correctional Center has been suspended until further notice in an effort to prevent the coronavirus from entering the facility, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
