A local man was arrested Thursday following a dispute over a customer who was not wearing a mask in a store. Alvin Shaman Mitchell, 22, of the 9400 block of Primrose Lane, is an employee of Circle K in the 8500 block of Youree Drive.
Governor Edwards announced Saturday during a press conference that he is signing an order mandating masks be worn, effective Monday.
