For the second week in a row, the Bossier Chamber is at the state Capitol to take issues related to Bossier down to Baton Rouge. April 28-29, President Lisa Johnson, Vice President Jessica Hemingway, and Government Relations Chair Kevin Nolten joined many Bossier leaders for Bossier Day at the Capitol. 1. Tell us about your family growing up: I was born and raised in Shreveport, and grew up in the Southern Hills neighborhood.

On May 5, shortly before 7 AM, Caddo Sheriff Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of Mustang Circle in Keithville due to concerns for a resident's welfare. Upon arrival, the suspect refused to communicate with the deputies. A few minutes later, the deputies heard a gunshot coming from inside the residence.

Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. swore in seven new deputies for the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office on May 5.
