Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s homicide division have made an additional arrest in the murder of Borris Williams, whose body was found in Lake Bistineau on Oct. 10.

In a whirlwind of activity detailing numerous homophobic, misogynistic and other derogatory terms used through numerous emails sent by Gruden from 2011-2018, Gruden announced via Twitter on Monday that he was stepping down as the head football coach for the Las Vegas Raiders, stating, “I have resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry. I never meant to hurt anyone.” The emails in question were discovered during a separate workplace misconduct investigation being performed by the NFL upon the Washington Football Team and former President Bruce Allen and have, of course, become public.

Barring his players hit on the way out onto the field, Ed Orgeron will not be the coach of the LSU Tigers come next season. The question is, will he be the coach for the rest of this season? Who knows? I personally believe he won’t be let go during the season. It doesn’t go along with the typical course of athletic director Scott Woodward.
