Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin invites the public to an exhibit of the Louisiana Society of Animal Artists at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum from Nov. 21 through Dec. 27. The exhibition of oil paintings and graphics will open with a small reception on Sunday, Nov. 21, from 2-4 p.m. Local residents and visitors are invited to meet the artists, view the exhibit in the West Wing Gallery and enjoy light refreshments.

A Shreveport man accused of a murder in Caddo Parish pleaded guilty to manslaughter and attempted murder before Caddo District Judge John D. Mosley Jr. last Thursday, Nov. 4.
