J.J. Watt Announces Retirement
One of the best defensive talents over the past decade, J.J. Watt, announced on Twitter this week that this season would be his last. Quarterbacks everywhere rejoiced. Watt, drafted in 2011, who spent the first 10 years of his career terrorizing QBs with the Houston Texans, has spent the last two seasons in the desert of Arizona playing for the Cardinals. This past weekend, his newborn son, Koa, was in attendance and as Watt mentions in his Tweet, “Koa’s first-ever NFL game. My last-ever NFL home game. My heart is filled with nothing but love and gratitude. It’s been an absolute honor and a pleasure.”
