A Shreveport Police Officer has been placed on leave following an accusation of simple battery.
According to Deputy Chief Antwoine White. Shreveport Police Officer Janica Allen was issued a summons on February 13, 2020, by the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes investigators following accusations of Simple Battery (LA RS 14:35).
She is on departmental leave pending further investigation. A full administrative inquiry into the incident will take place following the criminal investigation.
