Oil City storm victim named

An Oil City man killed when a string of strong storms moved through the Ark-La-Tex late Friday, January 10, 2020, and early Saturday, January 11, 2020, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

 

Raymond Holden, 75, of the 500 block of North Kerley Avenue, was in bed at his residence just after 11 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2020, when a large tree fell, crushing him. He died just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020.

 

An autopsy was ordered through Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
