Mother of murder victim's child arrested!

THIRD SUSPECT ARRESTED IN BOSSIER PARISH HOMICIDE CASE

The mother of 31-year-old Caleb Pippenger son is behind bars this evening in Bossier Parish for her involvement in the murder.

Task Force agents arrested, Shawna Michelle Jones, 29, of Shreveport, after she was taken into custody Tuesday morning in Caddo on a fugitive warrant out of Bossier Parish. She was transferred from Caddo Correctional Center to Bossier Max, where she currently is being held on a $250,000 bond. Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives had obtained a warrant for her arrest as a Principal to Second Degree Murder. 

Caleb Pippenger,31 was found the night of March 15 by family members lying in his front yard suffering from a gunshot wound following a family gathering at his home in the 100 block of Post Oak Drive in the Crouch Road area of Benton. According to court records, Pippenger, just two days earlier, had been granted custody of his juvenile son by interim order after the child’s mother, Shawna Jones, was arrested on March 1 by Bossier City police for possession of marijuana, possession of schedule IV drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of CDS in the presence of persons under 17 years of age.

On July 2, Jones appeared in Bossier District Court on the charges and was referred to the DA Diversion Program, with a review set for September 17.

In May, Justin C. Sepulvado, 29, of the 1300 block of Lampkin Street, was arrested by Bossier Sheriff’s detectives after they received a tip of his involvement in the homicide. He currently is still in custody at Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a bond of $525,000. Then on June 14, Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Alisa Lochabay, 26, of the 2600 block of Highland Ave. in Shreveport, as a principal to murder.

Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives are continuing their investigation.
