Summerfield Elementary and University Elementary Polling Places Temporarily Moved for July 11th Election

There are seven precincts being temporarily moved due to construction. The moves were voted on Tuesday, July 2, 2020, by the Commission. 

The two locations being affected are Summerfield Elementary School and University Elementary School

Precinct 63

• from Summerfield Elementary School, 3131 Ardis Taylor Dr. Shreveport, LA 71118
• to Southwood High School, 9000 Walker Road, Shreveport, LA 71118

Precinct 89

• from Summerfield Elementary School, 3131 Ardis Taylor Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118
• to Grawood Baptist Gymnasium, 5841 Colquitt Road, Keithville, LA 71047

Precincts 56, 76, 101, 108 and 112

• University Elementary School, 9900 Smitherman Drive, Shreveport, LA 71115
• to LSU-S University Center Building, One University Place, Shreveport, LA 71115

New cards have been mailed to each Voter affected by these changes.

There will be signs put up around both locations directing Voters where to go. The Facilities and Maintenance Department of the Caddo Parish Commission will have someone stationed at Summerfield Elementary School during the polling times to help assist the voters to the correct spot. The Caddo Parish Clerk of Court will have someone stationed at LSU-S to assist Voters in locating their correct precinct.
